What carnival is complete without cotton candy? I was going to buy some from the Dollar Store, but I lucked out and Walmart had some pretty big tubs of it for $1 on their after Christmas clearance. Four tubs got me 32 snack size bags of cotton candy.
- I took a foam board that I had on hand and covered it with clearance wrapping paper from Hobby Lobby(80% off baby!). I love it when Christmas Clearance doesn't scream Christmas.
- I used the Coney Island font for my letters. Everything I am making is in the Coney Island font. I LOVE it! (You can google it to find a place to download it for yourself)
- I got the idea for the bag toppers from 'Lil Luna. I pretty much copied her design exactly. Thanks for having a carnival party Kristyn, you are saving me!
- I tacked them all up with some see-through thumb tacks and we are ready to go. I also contemplated using a dab of hot glue to the back of the bag topper, but the thumb tacks seem to be working well for now.
