I'm helping host a baby shower later this week and my Mom specifically asked me to make some of the cupcakes and lollipops I made last year.
This go around I switched some things up and I LOVE how they turned out.
For these lollipops, I used two baby washcloths for each.
I did all of the same steps in my original Lollipop Tutorial. I cut a dowel in half, so it would fit the proportion better. These are much, much smaller than the originals. Here are my receiving blanket cupcakes. Once again the main idea is the same as my burp cloth and baby sock cupcakes.
This time each cupcake is made from one 30"x30" receiving blanket. I wanted to add a bit of visual interest so I made some big button clippies for the top. I used some scotch tape to tape the clips on to the top of the receiving blanket. That way they can be easily pulled off to use.

The buttons don't necessarily add to the cupcake look, but I think they are so cute.
There is a giveaway ending in about 30 minutes and another giveaway ending tomorrow night. I also have a few more coming up, so keep on the lookout!
Good luck and thanks for reading!
