Sea Turtle Quesadillas

Author:
Ingredients
  • Spinach Tortillas
  • Shredded Cheese
  • ¼-1/3 cup Guacamole
  • Black food writer marker
  • Cool Cotton Candy Yogurt Tube
  • Graham Cracker Crumbs, Mini Crisp Rice, or other brown food for sand
  • Orange Slice
Instructions
  1. Cut two sea turtle shapes out of the spinach tortilla with a turtle cookie cutter or scissors. Wrap tortillas are larger and can fit 4 turtles, for a total of 2 turtle quesadillas per tortilla.
  2. Place shredded cheese between the turtle tortilla pieces and heat in the microwave until the cheese is melted. Trim off any excess cheese with a knife or kitchen shears.
  3. Place two small dots for eyes with the black food writer. For a larger turtle, use half a black bean for each eye.
  4. Make sure your guacamole is very smooth and free of any lumps. To make for easier piping, add the guacamole and a little water in a food processor or blender to get a smooth consistency.
  5. Place the guacamole in a piping bag with a number 5 tip and pipe the shell design. It's easiest to pipe the outside circle, pipe three hexagons in the middle of the shell, and then connect lines from the outside to the middle.
  6. Complete the plate by adding some yogurt waves, a sandy beach, and an orange slice sun. The yogurt waves are very easy with a yogurt tube, just snip the corner off and you can draw them on the plate.
