Ingredients
  • 1 sheet Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly of your choice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp water
Instructions
  1. Per the package instructions, let the Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry thaw on the countertop for no more than 40 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Unfold the pastry onto a lightly floured baking sheet.
  2. Spread the center third of the Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry with peanut butter. Next gently spread the jelly on top of the peanut butter.
  3. Cut slits on each side of the Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry about one inch apart. End the cut just before the peanut butter and jelly filling.
  4. Fold the strips into the center by alternating from side to side. This makes the braid design. Press both ends closed to form a seal.
  5. Beat the egg and water together in a small bowl with a fork. Brush the egg wash onto the braid. Bake 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. Let the braid cool at least 20 minutes before serving.
